Profile Quality (Profile-QI)

Planed solid pine profiles occur in many types of furniture, and profiles of various materials are used widely in the construction industry.

The Profile-QI system has two main functions:

1. It inspects the surface of the profile to check that it is smooth and free from defects. A smooth surface helps to eliminate the danger of splinters in people’s hands, for example
   
   
2. The system measures the dimensions of the profile, guaranteeing correct measurements. Correct dimensions mean that an element of a building has the correct load capacity and that its constituent parts/profiles/beams fit together well on installation.
