QI-Station is a combination of various QI systems that allows automatic inspection of the dimensions and finish of foiled furniture parts. Using various technologies the system records digital images of each object that passes the system. The images are then analysed to check three things:
As with other QI systems, the images are analysed automatically and compared with the tolerances set by the customer. The system then makes a decision on each object: approve or reject.
QI-Station has been developed in partnership with Swedwood International. The first installation was set up for parts of the IKEA PAX wardrobe, which is manufactured at Swedwood’s factory in Hultsfred.
